The Pavilion Cup Pond Hockey Tournament
When: Thursday, February 5th to Sunday 7th, 2010
Where: Hatheway Pavilion on Lily Lake at the entrance to Rockwood Park, 55 Lake Drive South, Saint John
The Greater Saint John area will gather at Lily Lake to watch hundreds of people take to the ice in the Pavilion Cup Challenge to raise money to establish a free outdoor adventure camp for local youth from the Saint John area.
The Pavilion Cup Challenge in Saint John will see individuals from all ages and walks of life participate and enjoy the many attractions Rockwood Park has to offer.
The festivities will attract 500 participants, musicians playing a wide variety of music, fantastic prizes and of course, some old fashioned pond hockey!
120 teams - with 4 team members each (1 spare permitted):
80 men's teams
20 women's teams
20 mixed teams
As the ice surface will be licensed, this event is restricted to those over the age of 19 years.
Registration fee: $450 - includes discounted tickets to see Jimmy Flynn on
Friday Night, team buffet dinner and entertainment for all team members
on Saturday night, drink tickets for all team members, great prizes,
and a Pavilion Cup t-shirt and sponsor gift bag - not to mention the
hockey!
